Born in Luxembourg, raised in Chicago, and based in Los Angeles;  Kate McSpadden is a world traveler always been fascinated by different cultures and folklore. Finding various inspiration from films by Disney, Miyazaki, and Guillermo Del Toro, to video games like Jak and Dexter, Final Fantasy, and Resident Evil. Specializing in concept art and illustration, she utilizes her experience as a voice actress to create fun and expressive characters. With her strong sense of color and her imaginative enchanting designs, her works include illustrating the 2020 Mitsubishi Christmas Card and becoming the head concept artist for Reel Start's animated short film "Tree's Blood." She enjoy drawing, video games, bicycling, swimming, and voice acting. Art also runs in her family as her great-great grandfather and her father's cousin are also artists in their own right.
